Principal

Dr. Faisal M. H serves as the Principal of KMCT Institute of Engineering and Management, having assumed office on 19 November 2025. With over 23 years of distinguished experience in engineering education, he has held several key academic and administrative positions, including Vice Principal, Dean–Academics, and Head of Department, at reputed engineering institutions across Kerala.

Renowned for his progressive academic leadership, Dr. Faisal has played a pivotal role in formulating institutional academic strategies, implementing robust Outcome-Based Education (OBE) practices, curriculum enrichment, and strengthening industry–academia collaboration. His leadership has significantly contributed to achieving and sustaining institutional excellence in quality benchmarks such as NAAC and NBA accreditation, while fostering a student-centric and quality-driven academic environment.

A Ph.D. holder in Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Composite Materials, Dr. Faisal is an active researcher with an impressive portfolio of SCI- and Scopus-indexed journal publications, conference presentations, and scholarly contributions. He is a recipient of the Best Teacher Award and a Life Member of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), reflecting his commitment to academic excellence and continuous professional development.
